Located in the lush natural landscape at the foot of a mountain, the former hydroelectric power station “Antonio Pitter” is a charming example of industrial architecture dating back to the early 20th century. It has now been transformed into a museum where visitors can see the well-preserved original machinery and the control room.

immaginario geografico

In 2008, the former dairy of Malnisio di Montereale Valcellina was turned into the Geo Centre Immaginario Geografico (IG), an innovative interactive and multimedia centre focusing on geography, landscape and environmental issues.

The new Science Centre Immaginario Scientifico in Pordenone is a science museum to try, to play and to find out. Its exhibition techniques are typical of interactive and multimedia museums, where informal education methodologies are strongly used.
