A musuem where science comes to life in your hands and where curiosity becomes knowledge, among hands-on exhibits and the labs.

MUSEUM MAP

Fenomena

Machines to start, buttons to push and cranks to turn: Fenomena is the hands-on exhibit section, where you can experience the principles of science in a direct way.

There are 8 thematic routes:

  • Perceptions
  • Mirrors
  • The logic of puzzles
  • Lights, colours and shadows
  • Vibrations and waves
  • Gravity and forces
  • Turbulences and lightness
  • Fields and interactions

This section also includes the installation ‘100,000 years in a sheet of paper’: thousands of sheets to represent 4.5 billion years of our planet’s history in a surprisingly clear way.

Labs

The museum has two different labs, for experimental and creative activities.

ABC LAB

Around large tables where participants can be arranged in groups, exploration takes on different forms: it is discovery in activities for younger children, it is direct experimentation in collaborative workshops, and it is shared reasoning and confrontation in discussion games.

THE WORKSHOP

A place where science, creativity and technology meet, a space in which to tinker, design and build. The workshop hosts tinkering activities to “thinki with your hands” and courses in new technologies.
